                                         THE LION HUNT

This is a fun story activity for little kids I first learned from my dad (probably as a little kid).  In the bad old days we’d pat our thighs for the walking sounds, doors with hands, and the rest with voice.  With audacity, and some help from some digital artists at free sounds, I took it high-tech.  I’d like to thank Frogman_011 and bennychico 11 for the door sounds,  Robinhood76 for the walking footsteps, digifishmusic for the bird sounds, justkiddink_Z_Finland for the rowing sounds,  Bidone for the lion roar, Sagetyrtle for the running footsteps, and last but not least my dad, Roger Axford.

Took a while to catch on to Audacity interface but the it went smoothly, except for a crash half-way through.  Did lots of saves the second time through!

“A school should be the most beautiful place in every town and village- so beautiful that the punishment for undutiful children should be that they should be debarred from going to school the following day.” Oscar Wilde (in conversation)  from The wit and Humor of Oscar Wilde p.159

Scott’s little less plain Banner
When I was getting ready to post my banner on blackboard I saw a needed an image.
I tried several text colors for contrast.  Still not happy with it.
